It is great to be back!!!

Thank you to all the parent who came to help at the 100th Day and Valentine's Party. The students had a great time. Everything went really well. Thanks again for your help!

This week: Feb. 22nd-26th

We will be focusing on the letter "Ee' 'Bb' and 'Ll'. We will continue writing about "How to make...."during interactive writing. The morning class writing 'How to Make a Peanutbutter Sandwich". The afternoon class in writing 'How to Make a Snowman'.

We will be learning about lions. We will be making a lion book and writing 3 to 4 facts in the book about lions.

We reveiwing all of the sight words we have learned. We are working on rhyming sounds.

We are working on begining addition and graphs this week in math. We will also be reveiwig number 0-30.

We will beging reveiwing and doing assessments at the end of this week.

Upcoming Events!

Your child's Responsibility folder (Homework) came home on this week and will continue to be sent home on Mondays (or the first day of the week). Your child's Responsibility Folder should be returned on Fridays. If you are in need of another Responsibility folder please let me know. We will be starting 'spot lights this week on Fridays. When it is your child's turn, a poster and a note will be sent home at the first of the week.

Next week is Dr Suess Birthday on Tuesday. To celebrate his Birthday, I would asks that you read to/with your child for 30 minutes or more.

Parent teacher conferences are coming up on March 18th. Please look for a note that will be sent home with your child next week about your appointment time.
