A short teacher message should go here.
I am so excited to be at Spring Creek this year! The administration and faculty/staff are so positive and helpful, and the parent involvement and support is amazing.
Qualifications
This is my 20th year of teaching in Provo School District. I have taught fifth and sixth grade at Westridge and fourth grade at Timpanogos. I also spent three years at BYU helping train preservice elementary teachers. I have a Master's Degree in Education, and am currently in the process of completing a Gifted and Talented Endorsement.
Personal/Family Life
My husband, Steve Hansen, is the drafting and architecture teacher at Provo High. We have four children--two boys (McKay is 16 and Zach is 5) and two girls (Kylie is 12 and Addie is 10). I love to read, write, play the piano, and solve challenging math problems. Believe it or not, I also love to write lesson plans!
My father, Mr. McNeal, volunteers in my classroom a half day each week. He is a retired University professor (His field was Soil Chemistry). My students enjoy his science lectures/demonstrations/experiments.
