We have started having students do our after lunch read aloud time. Students are encouraged to read a picture book they enjoy to the other students. I feel that this gives the students a chance to share their growth in reading and fluency. The state core states that students must speak clearly and audibly with expression. This includes effective rate, volume, pitch, tone, and phrasing. Please encourage your students to read out loud at home .
