Our class believes in many values that help us learn and become amazing indviduals.
We have brainstormed values that reminds us daily to become a successful team.
We also have a class flag that states our values.
Our class spirit color is blue. Our goal is to wear blue every Friday for School/Class spirit day.
The year is flying by! In the month of January we celebrated the 100th day of school.
On this day all of our activities centerd on the number 100.
One of our projects was to collect 100 things and share them with our class.
We wrote 100 day stories and also did math center games that focused on 100.
Our cool glasses brought the spirit of the 100th day of school.
December was a month for giving for Miss Yamaguchi's class.
We made reindeer candy canes for two classes and decided to go and carol around the school.
Our class is filled with creative students who love to sing.
We were happy to bring the Christmas spirit around Spring Creek.
In November, our second graders participated in a school service project.
They donated can foods for The Utah County Food Bank.
With these cans we build castle to visually show giving to others.

In September we learned about seeds and plants. Our reading in Treasures for that week was
Eric Carle's "The Tiny Seed." To celebrate, we did a fun art project that modeled Eric Carle.
We cut out painted paper and made it into a beautiful design that shows how seeds travel.
